Our mission

We’re a duo on a mission: to make both teaching and learning Polish—a famously demanding language—more enjoyable and more accessible. We believe that learning Polish should feel lighter, friendlier, and a lot more fun.

Over time, we’ve listened closely to teachers who often said that the materials available for Polish as a foreign language are boring, outdated, and far too focused on grammar. They lack humor, lightness, and a focus on communication. Of course, preparing your own resources takes a huge amount of time and energy, so teachers were often left with whatever the market had to offer.

We also heard from students, who mainly expressed their frustration: endless drills of grammar endings that didn’t seem to lead anywhere, and the sense that learning Polish was harder and less rewarding than other languages they had studied. Many wanted a more modern approach—materials that focus on real communication skills and content that’s engaging, fresh, and closer to everyday life.

So we decided to step in and help both sides. We started creating materials that we hope both teachers and students will actually enjoy using. Our goal is to change the way Polish as a foreign language is taught and show that it can be both effective and enjoyable.

The journey so far

We’ve already published a solid collection of resources—both free and paid—and we’re working enthusiastically on more. We regularly share lesson ideas on Facebook and Instagram, and after the success of our first webinar (thanks to your amazing feedback!) we’re already planning more.

When designing our resources, we draw on the latest research in the psychology of learning and teaching. Studies confirm the power of techniques like role-play, gamification, and storytelling, which is why you’ll find them throughout our materials. They help boost engagement, keep motivation alive, and make the learning experience much more dynamic. We’re also big fans of visual materials—their potential in education is nearly limitless—so we incorporate them wherever possible. And because we care about the look and feel of our resources, we prepare every page with real attention to detail.

At first, Linguify was just the two of us. But as time went on, our team grew. Creative, passionate teachers have joined us, and together we’re building materials that combine effectiveness with enjoyment. Our aim is to foster communication in a way that’s engaging and full of positive energy—so every lesson feels not only like learning, but also like a good time, sparking real conversations. Thanks to this, lessons in Polish as a foreign language take on a whole new dimension: one filled with laughter, authenticity, and practical skills you can use right away.
